AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Fanshawe College

I am a Fanshawe Photography graduate. Each year the Photography Program had a "Image Competition" - All students participating to create and share their best images that were judged by professional photographers in the field. The competition had numerous categories to enter in. In my first year, I entered the portrait category with my vintage self portrait - placing in the top 5. In my last year, my image pictured above - "HALEY" - came in first place.

Thames Valley District School Board

In my grade 12 year - I was encouraged to enter into a contest that Thames Valley District School Board held for all schools in the board to create an image or artwork that would be used for note cards throughout the board. My snowman image placed first and was used on cards for the board to use and send out!

Woodstock Public Library Teaching Event

I absolutely love what I do. But getting to teach others my skill is the best! Each year I host a mini teaching event at the Woodstock Public Library - demonstrating how to use your camera, showing you tips and tricks for taking tablet and phone photos and answering all your photography questions!

Paris Fair 2019

In 2019, I decided to enter some of my images into the Paris Fair. It was the best decision I've ever made. I entered as many categories I could. • First in Children's Portrait. • Third in Any Subject. • Fourth in Macro Print • First in Portrait. And came home with "Best of the Best" with my image, "HALEY."

Remembrance Day 2012

In high school - I was given the opportunity to create Remembrance Day photographs that were put onto banners. Each year College Avenue Secondary Schools uses these banners for their Remembrance Day assembly!
